Frustrations and ML

“You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures.”~ Charles C. Noble

Wow!
Thank you for the warm welcome back!
I am amazed y’all are still here!
I am having serious computer issues.
I have not been able to post.
IE takes 10-15 minutes to load one page and when I try to make a post it times out.
I hope to have this resolved.
I have tried to visit with you and I can’t get your pages to load.
I may have to switch to the beta thing but as of now I don’t know what I am going to loose from the posts I already have by changing to beta. I am tempted to click that button. But like I said it isn’t just blogger it seems to be a problem with anything I want to do on the internet.
I am working on it.
I have not switched to beta yet but this seems more of an internal problem with my computer. I will do my best to get it resolved ASAP.
Cross your fingers so I can get IE and pages open again.
Murphy is having fun with me….
I was all revved up and excited to be back and whammo!
Computers….*sigh
I am tenacious I won’t give up. I will let you know when I resolve it.
Miss you all!
Huggs and Love from
Raggedy the “Cool One”

Yea! What Peter said! Firefox! It's all I've been using now for about 2 years.

I am a very strong believer of Firefox. My husband has been a beta user of firefox and its affiliates from the begining.

I hope you are able to resolve your issue soon and return to us for you are missed very much.

As I said the other day, publishing blogs was very problematic for me until I switched to beta. I didn't lose anything in the switch, and publishing after the switch has been like instantaneous, very easy, for me. Switching seems like a good intermediate step you could take until you get a better connection somehow.

Not being terribly erudite in the field of computer intricacies, I have little else to add here, beyond what Peter said.

And welcome back ;-)

I'll probably be the last to try the Beta gig; I still won't get a cell phone...

Echoing what others have - I didn't lose a thing on the switch to beta. You will have to re-add things to your sidebar - they are saved.

Oh by the way! Welcome back, Raggedy One.

I had my computer embroiled in a legal battle with an unscrupulous "Chop Shop", then had it rebuilt over three months froma legitimate shop. Now I'm in between cities and blogging on a light schedule but wanted to say you are linked and I know that if you do some research you will overcome the IE issue!

Yup,we are still hanging in here.I can relate...TOTALLY.Since I moved out here on the lake(lakeside, that is)...I have been on dial-up,and I have never had so many problems like I do now.Not to mention, slow speed is for people with ALOT of patience...so that leaves me OUT.I can fold a load of laundry and even put them up waiting on pictures to load! Then sometimes I wait forever, just to get a "timed-out" page.UuGH! It can get very stressful.Thank goodness it's only temporary.
Hope your Christmas went well..Happy New Years"!
