Happy Father’s Day (2007)

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!

To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world.

Dear Dad,
I love you with all of my heart.
I am blessed to have you in my life.
You are the wind beneath my wings.
I hold our past and all of the time that we have together.
I keep all of the loving memories.
I smile at the wonderful thoughts that pass through my mind.
There are very few days when a thought of you does not cross my mind.
I love you deeply and always.
It was wonderful to hear about your sailing adventure last night.
I could hear the joy in your voice and could feel your smile through the phone.
It is good to know that the Nanny is back in the water and in tip top shape.
After our call I looked at the Bay over her bow from the picture you made me hanging on the wall....
I remember the sounds she made cutting through the water, the feel of the wind on my face.....good times...good times...
Thank you!
I wish I didn't live so far away. I miss you!

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's!

A truly rich man is one whose children run into his arms when his hands are empty.

Can't leave without a funny one for the road...

Raggedy, I know you are a daughter all dads would be so proud of!
How can I tell? By the feeling for others you put in your blogs and comments.
I never hear you say 'life isn't fair,' even though you've had some really tough times.
Maybe it's that way because you are sharing and caring and now as in the past all your friends are 'pulling' for you, an awful lots!

Keep on keep'n on and please don't overdo things, we are very patient but concerned for you. I.e. just best wishes for your health right now!

You are lucky ! my father used to carry money instead of pictures and anyway in place of a heart he had a wallet. (at least something)

We are both blessed to have fathers that we cherish. Your tribute to him is wonderful.
I talked to my dad for two hours today. We talk at least twice a week on the phone. A good dad is a gift from heaven!!

I hope you are still on the mend.
Take care!!!

Nicely done. I didn't get the joke - I thought that was what was suppose to go in the empty spot. Okay, I got it.

That was very nice tribute to your father.
To many times we forget to say things to our fathers and we should remember.
I hope you are feeling better.

We may be getting close to time for your next surgery?
Best wishes and my prayers.

Here is a riddle, see if you or Jaycee can answer it:
What shoes should you wear when your basement is flooded?

Excellent Father's Day post, Raggedy.

That's okay, you sneaqk down and post or read comments and e-mail all you want as long as you feel up to it.

Time for the answer Raggedy, it would be your pumps.
You could wear them to the gas station also.
