3. Dear School: Please ekscuse John being absent on Jan. 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and also 33.

4. Please excuse Roland from P.E. for a few days. Yesterday he fell out of a tree and misplaced his hip.

7. Megan could not come to school today because she has been bothered by very close veins.

8. Please excuse Jason for being absent yesterday. He had a cold and could not breed well.

9. Please excuse Ray Friday from school. He has very loose vowels.

Ah, great visit outlining the power of words - or poorly written phrases.

Oh, that's a scream. Don't you know sometimes teachers just laugh until they cry over some of these excuses?

Happy TT!

It does amaze me at some of the excused we get also. I really like the ones the kids write and "someone" signs.

Our middle school kids come up with some very original excuses.

Happy TT

Very funny list! Looks like some of the parents may have missed a few too many days of school also. I better use spell check on the notes I write for my son. Don't want to end up on your list some day:)

Hee. Lots of parents pretty darn stressed out by their kids staying home--executing, shooting, planning funerals...

Funny! One would be tempted to say the kids wrote these, but we all know there are clueless parents, too.

Hilarious list, thanks for sharing!

I think we should at least be grateful that the parents are sending their children to school (sometimes) - if we had to rely on them to teach writing skills, the world would be in trouble.

I double checked my spelling and word order! Now watch there be a mistake. *blush*
