A Cold Saturday

Raggedy's Weather Outlook:
Overnight -17°F
Saturday 3°F
Saturday Night -11°F
Sunday -4°F
Sunday Night -24°F
M.L.King Day -9°F

Wind Chill: -36°F (-38°C)
This is the temp right now. When you add in our wind chills we will be in the minus 40’s for awhile.

The Bright Side:

“It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
"So it is." "And freezing." "Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little,
"we haven't had an earthquake lately.” ~ A. A. Milne

Raggedy's Joke Pick:

A motorist was unknowingly caught in an automated speed trap that measured his speed using radar and photographed his car.

He later received in the mail a ticket for $40 and a photo of his car.

Instead of payment, he sent the police department a photograph of $40.

Several days later, he received a letter from the police that contained another picture, this time of handcuffs.

He immediately mailed in his $40.

Have A Wonderful Weekend!

It is somehow comforting to read about those who are colder than us. We have a balmy +11 this morning. The temp actually went up a degree overnight.
Cute stuff here Raggedy, I had heard about the cop photo a while back, THAT is funny.
Keep warm somehow.

Thanks for the chuckle Raggedy. I can't believe it's so cold where you are. I assume you're in your undisclosed Arctic location.

Brrrrrrrrrrrr.....Now that's cold... I don't like cold weather. We are expecting to get a cold front through here in Tennessee.. except it would be a heat wave for you. Have a safe weekend.

Oh I love the cartoons... too funny!

OK, you have Utah beat by cold. It's only (compared to you LOL) forecasted to be -3F tonight. Our second snow storm blew right out *sniffle* and it's been clear since yesterday morning. I wish it would snow so it would warm up some.

Stay safe and WARM!!!

Love & hugs!

Oh my gosh, where are you? And I thought it was cold here. It's been about 5 degrees here with snow off and on. Last year there were days averaging 60 or so. I miss that!

Gidday Raggedy,
I can relate to the speeding fine, as I received one or two photos in the mail some years ago, but my heavy foot has since been lightened and I have been without photos for some time now.
I thought if I had received up to 6 photos (only got up to 2) maybe I would then receive a free photo album in the mail from police headquarters - ha! ha!

I'm so glad I moved from Maine to Texas to escape that cold weather ... and now, it's warmer in Maine than it is in Texas! I'm freezing down here!
:)
