The 53rd Celebration

Thank you all for wishing my Hubby a Happy Birthday!
With Thursday Thirteen and Friday Feast this is the first opportunity I have to share with you how wonderful Wednesday was.

I had one set of plans in my head because Joe has his piano lessons on Wednesday evenings. Wednesday is also the ONLY day that Joe does not have school related after school obligations. The piano teacher called and cancelled the lesson because her water pipes were all frozen. I felt really bad that her pipes froze. With piano cancelled we were able to take Dada out to eat for his birthday. We went to a really nice Steak House and Larry ordered a great big porterhouse steak. Joe had shrimp scampi, Jaycee had a “hangabur” her word for hamburger, and I had the rib eye. It was really yummy and we had a wonderful time.

There is nothing in the world like a kiss from your little girl!

This is a picture of our Waiter. Hubby asked him how he felt about having his picture on the internet and he quickly replied I'm already on it. Look at that smile.

After dinner we came home to have cake. After we sang the Happy Birthday song Jaycee yelled with excitement “Take a Wish!” You can tell Jaycee wanted to blow out the candles too. She also helped open all the presents.

It is hard to catch a picture of Joe smiling. He has to be so cool in all the pictures but I got one.
