Bill Engvall

William Ray (Bill) Engvall, Jr. was born in 1957 in Galveston, Texas. Bill is an American comedian best known for his work as a stand-up comedian. He is a member of the Blue Collar Comedy group.~Wikipedia
The members are Bill, Ron White, Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy.

Take some time and let Bill to tickle your funny bone.
Be ready to laugh..
I have all of the BCCT DVD's.
I showed the one linked on this post to my Dad when he was here for a visit.
He enjoyed Bill the most and it was great to hear his laughter.

(Video is 10 minutes but only the first 2 minutes are Bill closing his act)

Bill's most famous routine is "Here's Your Sign" in which he proposes hanging signs on people who are stupid, so others would know not to rely on them for anything. Engvall's criteria for getting signed is asking something stupid or obvious, to which he replies with a sarcastic remark and a "heeeeeeere's your sign." An example of this joke would be: "I was walking my dog the other day and my neighbor saw me and asked, "You walking your dog?" I said, "Nope, I was walking the leash and the dog ran into it. Heeeeeeere's your sign." On occasion, others have signed him, much to his chagrin. ~Wikipedia

End of tour 8:31 of “Here’s your sign”

I saw Ron and Jeff perform live.
I saw Jeff a long time ago when I lived in Pennsylvania.
I saw Ron recently.
I was looking forward to seeing Ron live HERE .
After I saw Ron's show is HERE .

(If you are using firefox and a beige bar is blocking the post, go to edit and select all and you can read through the biege bar.)(The line is showing up on Firefox only. If you can open with Internet Explorer it is fine....I can't make the posts compatible to both browsers. I am sorry.) (If anyone has information on how to resolve this problem I would appreciate your help. Thanks)

Ha first for a change.
I have watched all of them perform together and separatly on TV and have busted a gut laughing with them.
Nothing like a good laugh to raise the spirits.
I'm talking about booze just so you know.
ok the other spirit to.
Have a nice weekend Cool One :)

I saw Engvall at a comedy club about 20 years ago, and I STILL laugh at the memories!

I get the bar in the middle, but its not that difficult to deal with... at least not worth changing browsers, even though I have half a dozen to select from.

There is nothing better than a good comedian of course being a true Georgia Peach . Jeff Foxworthy is of course my all time favorite.

I don't care how many times I was to see him or hear him I would still do it just because or most of them because laughter is good for the soul just like this morning I went right over and checked the links out and LMAO.

Have a nice weekend my special COOL friend. :)

Hi Raggedy ~ Thanks for the advice to
edit, select all, so now I can read your posts properly. The white bar made it very difficult. Thanks for your comments and I am sure your chicken was nice too. It goes further with the extra ingrdients. Have a great Sunday. Take care, Hugs, Merle.

Raggedy, you should know better than to brag "I fixed it" cos it was gone but it came back, my guess is you have something over width in a post, photos and links are prime offenders.

Bill is one of my favs, I've liked him since I first saw him on VH1 with Rosie O'Donnell on a stand-up comedy show. I too have all the DVDs of BCTV, Rounds Ups, and the BCCT's. I haven't watched One for the Road yet; too much homework this weekend. He's brilliant, his phrase "Here's your sign" has come out of my mouth several times.

I hope you had a great weekend! *HUUGS*

Michael can recite several "skits" by these guys. Not sure if that makes me a good parent or not.
