You've Got Mail
A little boy goes to his father and asks "Daddy, how was I made?"
The father answers: "Well, son, I guess one day you will find out anyway!"
Your Mum and I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo and I fixed up a date, via e-mail, with your Mum and we met at a online chat-cafe. From there we went into a private chat room.
I upgraded my floppy to a stiffy and then your Mum agreed to do a download from my hard drive.
As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither of us had used a firewall, and since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later, a blessed little Pop-Up appeared which said:
"You've Got Male!"
I enjoyed the movie You've Got Mail starring Meg and Tom.

What's not to like about Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan? Here's what. The way he ruined her business and her life and everyone was just... OK with that. Really bothered me. I prefer Sleepless in Seattle (the ultimate chick flick), or even Joe vs.the Volcano, which at least had a killer opening scene before the movie went south. If you could somehow save the little shop in You've Got Mail, it would be yes, a formulaic romance scheme (duex ex machina), but otherwise I can't believe she'd stay with him.
Back to the topic at hand, I really enjoyed the jokes!
I'm with you Raggedy, Loved the film, the joke was funny too.
Ha! That was cute!! I wonder if that would work when I have to have "the talk" with my daughters?
I love Meg and Tom movies too. I never get tired of them. If you go to my hubby's profile, you will see Joe vs the volcano is one of our favorite movies. :o)
Where the movie loses credibility with me is the "fact" that they met in a chat room.
When's the last time you visited one of those so-called "chat rooms"? Nuthin' but teen smut and bots. Great place for Rosie the Robot to score ;)
LOL!
Wasn't a bad movie but it was definitely a 'once and done' one for me.
Hahahah! Cute joke and I absolutely loved that movie, too :))
As a matter of fact, my husband and I DID meet in a chat room. Not the "smut kind" thank you very much ;~)
Great film and joke. Very good!
I never know what Miss Cellania is saying or doing. Is this her b**g?
Good joke, kid.
(Can you paste a mustache on Miss Cellania for me?)
That was a cute movie
I too enjoyed the movie. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks are two of my favourites.
Loved the joke! Would you believe that I have never seen "You've Got Mail?"
i bet i have seen that movie at least 50 times. i may almost have it memorized.
Hi Raggedy ~~ Thanks for the comment.
I liked the joke, very clever.
Take care, Merle.
I loved that movie, too. They are always great together.
Have a great weekend!
