2006 Larimore Piano Recital

“Music melts all the separate parts of our bodies together”~ Anais Nin

A proud mother post again? Yes. Joe finished his last day of seventh grade on Friday. He finished this year with a 4.0 average. I am so impressed and proud. *big smile.

Joe had his last piano recital for the year today. He performed Easy Winners, Gypsy Folk Dance, and Turkish March. He played beautifully. After the recital there was an Awards Ceremony. He received Certificates of Musical Merits for the following, playing in Scott’s Music Competition in April, playing Turkish March for the Music Teachers National Association meeting for Mozart’s 250th Birthday in January, playing in the General Recital for the Greater Grand Forks Music Teachers Association in May, and a Certificate of Musical Merit issued to Joe for Piano. He also received a Practice Club Award for the 180 Minute Club and a Certificate of Recognition from Scott’s Piano.

This is a picutre of Joe with his piano teacher, Linda. Her love of teaching and music has been an asset to our lives. Thank you Linda!

Tomorrow Joe will be playing his trumpet for the Senior High Graduation Ceremony here in Northwood and then in Hatton.

I am impressed. I am proud. WOW!

My girlfriend from across the pond has been sending me the most beautiful music. *swoons Thank you so much! I could list 30 new songs that I just love! This is one of my favorites:

The Anais Nin quote is one of my all time favorites...I often say that a day without music is a day wasted. :)

Congrats on your talented family!! You must be doing something right. :)
