Friday Feast #146

Appetizer
Name something you think is “the best.”

Our Country.
I served her.
I thank all of those that have served.
I thank all of those that are serving now.

Support our Troops!

Soup
On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 highest), how stressed are you today?

I am going to give it a 5

I am glad to announce that it has gone down quite a bit since I am now able to walk up and down stairs and raise from a seated position without excruciating pain due to some magic in a needle injected in both of my knees on Wednesday…..I can walk better and maybe bop someone with my cane when I feel like it…*giggle

My medical Monday procedure is raising the meter a bit because that is when I have the spinal tap so send the good vibes my way please…

The Topomax which I call Dopomax is making it very hard to write posts and is the cause of my lengthy absence from posting and commenting because it takes me a very long time to post or write a comment and get the letters or thoughts right….

My TT was in a draft…Wordless Wednesday was a breeze….But my memorial post took me five days to write and fix… When I commented to Thursday Thirteeners luckily I had a good day…Today is not so bad either but most days are pretty tough….

Salad
What kind of cleanser do you use to wash your face?

Noxzema

Main Course
Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”

I don’t believe in that blue moon stuff. But I would like to see my entire family gather together again at my Dad’s house in Maryland one more time just so we could all be together again. I would enjoy that very much. I miss Mark, Laura, Nichole, Tim, and Heather I have not seen some of them for 7 years and the rest in over 12 years so it has been a long time.

Dessert
When was the last time it rained where you live?

Hi Raggedy ~~ I am so sorry that you are having all that pain - no wonder you took some time off. I do hope it can be cured for you. That Memorial post that took you so long was wonderful. The best that I read, so well done for your perseverance!
I hope you get that family reunion
that you would like. Could you suggest it? Believe it or not, I
organized a family reunion about 3 years ago. We held it in the grounds of a Winery and we had a
great time. Take care dear Raggedy
sending loving thoughts and prayers
for your recovery. Love, Merle.

Best of luck to you. I have been a migraine sufferer for 25 yrs. and have been on Topamax for about 2 yrs. now. I wouldn't even say it works becasue because I can only tolerate a very low dose. But even at that dosage, yikes, sometimes I wonder if I'm even going to remember my own name when I answer the phone at work. It truly is a "dopey" kind of feeling.

Sorry to hear about your knees - and I'll say a prayer for an easy time of it with your spinal tap.

(a "blue moon" is just a second "full moon" in one month -- not much "believing" involved!)
