Friday Feast #135

Appetizer
Name two things that made you smile this week.

Partners in Crime

Number One
It looked my daughter was trying to feed the dog chalk.
Me: "WHAT are you DOIng? Dogs don’t each chalk!"
Her: "I not feeding chawk momma. I just colawing his nose BLUE!"

Number Two
It was 5AM, dark, cold, and snowing like crazy. Thursday morning is garbage day. My son usually takes the garbage out Wednesday evening.
Me: "WHAT are you DOIng? It is freezing out there!"
Him: "I am taking the garbage out mom!"
Me: "In your ROBE and SLIPPERS?"

If you look close in the first picture you can see the drag path from the garbage bag.

Soup
Fill in the blank: Don't you hate it when ________?

Don’t you hate it when blogger eats comments and posts?

Salad
When you can't go to sleep, what is your personal remedy to help yourself drift into Lullaby land?

Take a pill

Main Course
What is something about which you've always wondered but have not yet found a good answer?

Why do the good die young?
I miss my sister Sruti.
I miss Tory.
I will never understand.

Dessert
What is your favorite pasta dish?
Lasagna

Now that dragging the garbage out in the snow in the middle of the night. Now that is a good thoughtful kid. Tell him he is pretty cool. At least I think so.
I haven't yet experience blogger eating any posts or comments guess that will be a surprise for me one day. Have a good week.

I am so sorry about the loss of your sister. It is true the good die young. I lost my husband to cancer 16 years ago and he was only 31 years old. I know our loved ones are with us every day. We have the best guardian angels.

Take care,
Connie

My feast is up.

Great feast! My kids used to color the dogs and cats too. They used to make circles aroung the eyes with permanent markers. I don't like using blooger, it used to give me lots of problems.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oh yea! Lasagna works!

I try to NOT take pills if I can't sleep - because I find if I take a pill I don't get a RESTful sleep -- I seem to wake up as tired as I was before I slept! That doesn't work for me!

So... she was bluein' his nose, huh? LOL!

I laughed bout your Appetizer and feel with you at the Main Course. My mommy died to young, too. It's always hard and you can never understand.

Here's a long distance hug for you to cheer you up a bit.
{{{{HUG}}}}

I hope that helped a bit.

Your two smiley moments made me smile too. :)

1. We rescued a baby squirrel, and that made me smile.
2. My son languishing outside his sister's locked room door, saying, "PLEASE play a game with me!"
It cracked me up because he's 16 and she's 18, and he sounded like a six year old.

Those who die too young baffles me too.
I don't understand it, and their losses are never forgotten.

Me LIKES me some lasagna & spaghetti with giant meatballs & even some Mac & Cheese.

Happy Weekend.
Have a truffle!!!!!
